The Ghost of Snapped Shot

Or, welcome to my low-maintenance heck.

The Left: Lionizing murderers time and time again.

Compare and contrast a Daylife search on relatives of Humberto Leal Garcia, a murderer executed late last night, and a Daylife search on relatives of Adria Sauceda (or just her mother and her father), the 16-year old girl that was kidnapped and brutally murdered by Garcia.

Now tell me this: Were there really no press resources available to track down and the family of the victim of this brutal crime to find out what their reaction to this story is?

These jackals certainly had plenty of time to spend making the murderer's family look sympathetic (if not extremely well fed).

If this doesn't tell you enough about how utterly sick the press in this country is, I don't know what will.

Humberto Garcia, father of condemned inmate Humberto Leal Garcia, awaits his son's execution outside "The Walls" Texas prison unit which houses the execution chamber (background) in Huntsville, Texas July 7, 2011. Texas executed the Mexican national on Thursday over objections from President Barack Obama's administration that the action would violate international treaty obligations and put U.S. citizens abroad at risk. Leal Garcia, who had lived in the United States since he was an infant, was convicted of raping a 16-year-old girl and bludgeoning her to death with a piece of asphalt in 1994. PS: As an aside, how does someone live in the United States since they were an infant qualify as being a Mexican citizen? I've been living in the United States since I was an infant, but my family from many generations back is Swiss -- Does that mean I qualify as being a citizen of Switzerland?

PPS: For Google's sake, Humberto Leal Garcia is a sub-human animal, a monster, an evil beast, and a disgusting example of EVERYTHING that's wrong with our country -- and his family is fat.

Or, if I may be more clear: Humberto Leal García es un animal de sub-humanos, un monstruo, una mala bestia, y un ejemplo repugnante de todo lo que hay de malo en nuestro país - y su familia es la grasa.

So there.

Update: Many, many thanks to our #1 graduate for the excellent linkage -- Welcome back, Jawa readers! :)

#3 Rhymes With Right 08-Jul-2011

How has he been here since he was an infant while being a Mexican national?  Easy -- his parents are "damp-shouldered border-jumpers" who brought their son with them into this country when he was about age 2.  He is therefore also a "damp-shouldered border-jumpers" who is still a Mexican citizen.  Indeed, Humbeto Leal came to this country in precisely the method that would get someone amnesty if the DREAM Act passed and were signed into law -- and we ought to make the murderous sumbitch the poster child for the campaign against it.

Ahh yes, the logical fallacy of the hasty generalization. Bravo sir.
