Wow! Color me shocked—the Tunis-based head of the Fatah movement is calling for the Palestinian Authority to be disbanded, and replaced by a series of small municipal governments.

BRILLIANT!

Centralized governments don't work, whether they're instituted in various united States or abroad. I'd be willing to bet dollars to donuts that dissolving the centralized PA would undermine corruption to no end, and provide the people who live in the various municipalities every chance to prove how peaceful they really are.

(Of course, the article mentions that Kaddoumi was opposed to the PA to begin with, so perhaps this isn't so groundbreaking, but it's encouraging to see Al-Jazeera broadcast such uncouth and politically incorrect opinions. If they get the message, who knows—maybe that confounded group of dhimmis will too!
