Dictatorship Shot of the Day

Still on my quest to educate the nutroots. My weekends are usually full of other activities, so today will probably be another slow one for me. Sorry in advance!

Syrian citizens walk in front of a billboard showing Syrian President Bashar Assad, at a street in Damascus, Syria, Wednesday Sept. 13, 2006. The rapid response by Syrian guards at the US embassy on Tuesdaywon rare praise from the United States, which accuses President Bashar Assad's government of supporting terrorism in its backing of Hezbollah guerrillas and Palestinian militants. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said,'I do think that the Syrians reacted to this attack in a way that helped to secure our people, and we very much appreciate that.'(AP Photo/Hussein Malla)

Right, because it's important to make sure that everyone is on friendly terms with Bashar Assad. Can any of you Nutsrooters point to a single city in the United States that has large portraits of George W. Bush on billboards all over town?

I didn't think so.

Syria? Dictatorship.

The United States? Still not a dictatorship.

Snapped Shot: 3. The Nutroots: 0.
