"Git, you varmin!"
While our erstwhile photographer describes this policeman as "thrashing" journalists, I'd suggest that it really looks more like he's trying to keep them away from a dangerous situation. Not that this is the first time that the media turns one man's killing fields into a veritable goldmine or anything.
An Indian policeman (R) thrashes at journalists at the scene of fighting in Srinagar on November 29, 2010. Three suspected militants and a policeman were killed in gunbattle in a busy market in the main city of Indian Kashmir, police said, as panicked locals ran for cover. The firing erupted when the suspected rebels targeted a police patrol in Srinagar, killing a head constable, a police spokesman said. THRASHING
hahahahahahhaa... now, if the policemen had some cane poles and were actively whipping the camera vermin, then I could see it. But, it could be just like you say.
But, what do you, an alternative media blogger know!??!
