I do apologize for sitting this election season out. I wanted to be more involved, but have been going through a pretty interesting time here in real life that's distracted me from my usual pursuits -- and from spending time here, to boot.
While I'm delighted that Nanski Peloski got Ye Olde Boot yesterday, I'm even more thrilled to see Republicans gain bigger majorities in State governments across the country. Considering that the Census just wrapped up, and redistricting season is about to kick off, this could not have possibly come at a more opportune time. Finally, we can start to unwind some of these gerrymandered districts and help make Congress a much more competitive environment.
Anyway, that's all I've really got to say for now. Hopefully as things continue to settle down over here, I'll be able to stop slacking here at Snapped Shot.
