There are plenty of other John Wayne's possessions up for auction over at Heritage Auctions. From what I understand, the Wayne heirs will be donating a portion of the proceeds of this auction to charity, though I cannot find an official statement to that effect on the auction site, so buyer beware.
Still, I have to admit that the thought of owning a coffee mug used by John Wayne himself for a mere $500 is quite tempting. Just stay away from the seagulls, y'all. Those are totally within my budget!
