Has the world ever seen horrors like this?
Compare the photo above, of the grand opening of a shopping mall in the Gaza Strip, to claims by "aid agencies" that conditions in the Gaza Strip are worse than ever before, and the fact that braindead idiots continue trying to send "blockade busters" to bring "desperately needed" supplies to the "refugee camp."
Far be it from me to suggest that these "international peace groups" are full of it, and that they just might have ulterior motives in making the sweeping condemnations that they do.

PS: I'm really late to the game here -- Elder of Ziyon and Aussie Dave had it yesterday. But they're awesome, whereas I stink, so there.

Let me double check... Yep, your monologue has not tipped the Snapped Shot Needle O' Sympathy one little bit over here. It's still nice and low.
Not that it isn't a fantastic piece of writing, which I appreciate very much!
Must be a pathetic place to live when the opening of a little measly shopping mall is big deal.
Where should the line at which sympathy for others ends? If the country has people that like you and it’s just a problem with the government or circumstance then it should be high. But if those other people really really don't like you, well then they don't deserve much sympathy at all. They have to be living on a dollar a day, sub-Saharan Africa, 50% infant mortality kind of place to get the slightest lifting of the finger of sympathy or concern. For not liking you, they deserve whatever they get. It's that simple.
