I'm glad Frank J. wrote a lengthy piece on robot doctors this morning, because it couldn't have come at a better time: According to a study conducted by Accenture, we're going to lose TWO THIRDS of our country's private physicians by 2013!
“We see an increasing number of physicians leaving private practice to join hospital systems, which will force all stakeholders to revise and refine their business models, product offerings and service strategies.”
I hope Barack Mensa Obama is hard at work building those killer robot doctors, because it sure looks like we're going to be needing them after all!
