Bashar's Buddies

Fools rushing in.

After spending the past few weeks murdering nearly 800 civilians in Syria, it seems that Bashar al-Assad was looking for a little bit of diplomatic cover to carry him through to the next election.

To absolutely nobody's surprise, Bashar used the pretext of today's Nakba celebrations (we'll be scouring the photo archives later) to provide exactly what he needed—Eight whole "protesters" killed... while attempting to bum-rush their way across the Israeli border.

And now we watch as the world media returns to their tired old knee-jerk storylines: Will the horrors of the Zionist Death Machine never cease?

Demonstrators cross from Syria into the Israeli-annexed Golan Heights near the Druze town of Majdal Shams on May 15, 2011 during a mass show of mourning with Palestinians over the 1948 creation of the Jewish state known in Arabic as the "Nakba" or "Catastrophe."
