Vogue, a brainless magazine devoted to brainless fashion, put out a glowing piece a little while back on Asma al-Assad, wife of the Syrian thugocrat. Shortly thereafter, the Syrian government began openly shooting protesters in the streets.
Predictably, it would appear that Asma is no longer in Vogue, pardon the pun.
Gee, who would've guessed that profiling the wife of a brutal thug would have ended up being such a deliciously bad idea?
