England: Photographing Thugs is "Assault"

What the heck?

You can't shoot them when they break into your house.

You can't chase them with a 2x4 when they harrass your children.

So it only makes perfect logical sense that you can't document their crimes to present to the police.

Ah, England:—The land of opportunity.

For criminals.

Incidentally, if you haven't figured it out yet—Not that I blame you, seeing how it took me a couple of hours to figure it out—The government of England has no qualms whatsoever with taking your picture, whether you are doing something deserving of suspicion or not.

That, ladies and gentlemen, illustrates the difference between being a "subject," and being a citizen, better than anything I've seen in a while.

Other than that insidious John Locke fellow. He had a good word or two to say on the subject too, I hear.
