The Compassion of Idiots

When I saw a headline about an entrepreneur in Miami helping homeless people move into foreclosed homes, the cackles of my heart actually warmed just a little bit.

Little did I know that I was in for quite a bit of a disappointment:

MIAMI—Max Rameau delivers his sales pitch like a pro. "All tile floor!" he says during a recent showing. "And the living room, wow! It has great blinds."

But in nearly every other respect, he is unlike any real estate agent you've ever met. He is unshaven, drives a beat-up car and wears grungy cut-off sweat pants. He also breaks into the homes he shows. And his clients don't have a dime for a down payment.

Rameau is an activist who has been executing a bailout plan of his own around Miami's empty streets: He is helping homeless people illegally move into foreclosed homes.

Without resorting to hyperbole of the ultimate levels, I'll just leave off by saying that this country has gone totally and completely insane.

Only a complete idiot (and the moron reporter that interviewed him) would define "charity" as "stealing something that doesn't belong to me, and giving it to someone who couldn't possibly pay for it."

Day by day, I'm getting closer and closer to becoming Frank J.

WHERE THE HELL ARE THE POLICE!?!?!?

Seems like this reporter would be the perfect person to FOLLOW in order to bag some bad guys.

I think it is time to "squat" in HIS house. See how he likes it.
