I mean, Yiorgos might not think he's covering the most prestigious of events here, but he could have at least put in a little bit more effort at presenting the actual subject in the story...

(I am saying this mostly in jest, for what it's worth.)

Ooo, neat! I stinky, The Elder linky! And he illustrates his all-powerfulness yet again by flagrantly posting the picture in question, to boot. (Of course, since we're discussing the framing and focus of the picture—in other words, the context—one could argue that this is, in fact, a "fair use" of the material. I'm just a big chicken over here, though not without reason..)

I do admit to being more careful in posting pictures since your little, um, event. But I am making sure that it is in the context of criticism of the news service, and this (to me) is a slam-dunk.

As far as the other posting you linked to (thanks!), it sure looks like public domain to me!

I think you're pretty safe, as the copyright on a set of photographs that old has [i]got[/i] to have expired by now. :)

And yeah, I'd like to think that I'm [i]Caution's[/i] middle name as of late. As if that analogy even makes sense! (Good old allergy medicine before bed... my apologies, heh.)
