Here's an experiment for you to try at home: Build a large extension to your house. But, rather than following the proper procedures for doing so, try doing it without getting local building permits. Also, be sure that it extends well into your neighbour's property.
What do you suppose the outcome of such an experiment would be? Do you think your City Council would come running for joy at your new construction?
Why, then, does Reuters expect that we force the Jerusalem City Council into ignoring all semblance of law? It's always sad to see a locality come in and raze a structure which was not built legally, but it is the underlying fact that the law was broken which has brought that action about. Is Reuters openly advocating that we violate the law? With the complete lack of information they're providing, one could only come to such a conclusion. Here's their latest terror-supporting effort:
(As an aside, it should be pointed out that the Jewish State also comes out harshly against illegally-built Jewish homes, sometimes even ones which were built legally. I have yet to hear Reuters bray about that injustice, though.)

This wasn't in the oppressed occupied slum lands of Eastern Jerusalem where people pray to die than live another day without food, water, shelter, freedom, paper, pencils, shoes, sunglasses.......
