We Are All Palestinians

Palestinian Parliament member from Hamas Hatem Kafisheh (C) and Fatah Parliament member Akram al-Himounia (L) hold hands during a joint protest in the West Bank city of Hebron, calling for an end to the unrest [Ed.: Is THAT what they're calling it these days] between the factions in Gaza, January 8, 2007. The two factions have been locked in a violent power struggle that some Palestinians fear could spark civil war. The internal unrest has worsened since Abbas called last month for early elections to break a political deadlock with Hamas. Man at right is unidentified. REUTERS/Nayef Hashlamoun (WEST BANK)

"Could" spark civil war? In that case, I'd better be ready with the Traditional Press Response:

Quagmire!!

Best of luck to the two Parlimentarians that are trying the Jesse Jackson approach. Perhaps they would have better luck if they could somehow convince their citizens not to use violence as a first resort?

Nah. That's crazy talk.
