Does this mean we're winning?

It appears that someone at the Editorial desk at Reuters is getting a bit jumpy. They've posted an updated copy of one of their photos to "clarify" that people in the background are not in the line of fire. Of course, we know the Palestinians would never put civilians in the line of fire, though it's pretty clear that this guy is shooting at Israeli forces, from within a group of civilians. Anyone want to bet what the international reaction would've been, had the IDF fired back and hit any of the civilians shielding this low-life?

RETRANSMITTING ORIGINAL FULL FRAME FOR CONTEXT TO SHOW THAT PEOPLE IN BACKGROUND ARE NOT DIRECTLY IN THE LINE OF FIRE -- A Palestinian militant fires toward Israeli troops during an arrest raid in the West Bank village of Qabatiyeh near Jenin, Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2006. Four Palestinians were wounded when the army arrested an Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades militant, Palestinians sources said. The army said two Islamic Jihad militants were arrested during the operation. Update 20:22 EST: Looks like LGF has finally caught up to this story. We beat you by 3 hours, good sirs. Does that make this our first scoop? :)
