Mission Accomplished: They got Jughead!

Sometimes the best titles come to you when you're stuck in a car... Orig. title: Al Aqsa Liquidation Continues?

Remember our identify this terrorist article from way back? It seems that somebody was listening...

A Palestinian militant from Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades stands in front of a poster showing a member of the group who died during a rally marking the deaths of its members killed over the years in the conflict with Israel in the West Bank city of Nablus, Friday, June 1, 2007. Israeli and Palestinian leaders are to meet next week in the Palestinian territories for the first time in a bid to restore a shattered cease-fire in the Gaza Strip, a senior Palestinian official said. I know I said I'd miss the little retard, but I never expected to actually see him go.

Score one for the good guys! (You can find more discussion of Al Aqsa's demise here and here, if you'd like...)

Update: Are any of y'all facial recognition experts? Does this photo look like our guy to you? It does to me.

If it is him, that would connect him to the former Abu Amar Martyr's Brigade, which would definitely make my Theory #2 far more plausible...

Double Update: More pictures of the "Martyrs' Rally" are coming in now. Feel free to peruse them, beyond the fold!

Curses, foiled again!

Ah Well: It would seem that our Jughead (aka Amin Lubadi) passed away sometime around the 23rd of April, long before the latest little spat of violence against Al Aqsa members. Drat!

Relatives carry the body of Amin Lubadi during his funeral in the West Bank town of Nablus, 22 April 2007. Israeli troops shot dead two gunmen from the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades today during an Israeli operation which resulted in heavy exchanges of fire in Nablus. Palestinian security sources identified one of the two men as Amin Lubadi, 25 and Fadel Nur, 23. AFP PHOTO/JAAFAR ASHTIYEH

Relatives carry the body of Amin Lubadi during his funeral ... blah blah. Same credit as last photo.
Believe it or not, this next one is not a duplicate of the top picture:

More evidence for Rusty, if you will... But I digress! On with the fun!
